HEI School is the first Finnish curriculum-based school in Indonesia. In collaboration with the University of Helsinki, Finland, HEI Schools is one of a kind preschool (early childhood education) which is directly affiliated with the Finnish Embassy in Indonesia.

Adopting an educational philosophy from Finland, HEI Schools not only emphasizes academics for children, but also uses a holistic-based approach, including the play approach that children need.

The curriculum at this Finnish school is specifically designed to train students to be independent. Therefore, apart from studying and playing, students also practice how to use the toilet, clean up leftover food, and even prepare their own mattresses when they are scheduled to take a nap.
