U-17 World Cup: Indonesia Draws 1-1 Vs Ecuador Lifestyle – 4 hours ago

Surabaya, CNBC Indonesia – The Indonesian U-17 National Team managed to hold a draw with a score of 1-1 against Ecuador. Goals were scored in the first half.

Competing at Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT) Surabaya, East Java, the U-17 Indonesian National Team played all its best players. In the early minutes of the match, Ecuador continued to press and attack the Indonesian defense. However, everything was thwarted by the Indonesian U-17 National Team goalkeeper Ikram Algiffari.

Entering the 8th minute, the U-17 Indonesian National Team began to control the match. The attack was launched through the left side of Ecuador’s defense. In the 9th minute, Indonesia had a chance but Kafiatur Rizky’s shot still bounced on the left side of Ecuador’s goal.


Indonesia continues to pressure Ecuador. Garuda Nusantara put up fierce resistance. The first shot on target was obtained in the 17th minute through Rizky Kafiatur who fired an attempt from outside the penalty box. Unfortunately, Kafiatur’s kick was still too weak and could be anticipated by Ecuador goalkeeper Cristhian Loor.

The Indonesian U-17 national team finally succeeded in breaking into Ecuador’s goal in the 22nd minute through Arkhan Kaka. Starting from Riski Afrisal’s stab from the right side of Ecuador’s defense, he successfully passed one opposing player and entered the penalty box.

Afrisal then released a cross which was pushed over by goalkeeper Cristhian Loor, but the ball still went to Arkhan Kaka who easily tipped the ball into the empty net.

However, Ecuador managed to equalize 1-1 in the 28th minute through Allen Obando’s header. Starting from Santiago Sanchez’s movement from the right side, Obando then used the cross easily with a header.

Ecuador took a 2-1 lead through Jair Collahuazo’s flick. However, the goal was disallowed by VAR because Obando’s position was deemed to be offside.

Entering the second half both teams played carefully. The opportunity came for Ecuador in the 56th minute. Fortunately, Bermudez couldn’t head the crossing ball. Ecuador continues to pressure and confine Indonesia. In the 71st minute, Bermudez almost scored with a header. Luckily Ikram was still able to parry and catch the ball.

Indonesia tried to come out and attack. Hanif almost scored a goal with a speculative kick in the 73rd minute. However, Hanif’s shot went narrowly wide.

Indonesia continues to be locked down and must survive. Ikram made several dramatic saves.

The Norwegian referee Espen Eskas also added 13 minutes of additional time. However, until the whistle ended, the score remained 1-1.
