1. Bad internet connection
The problem that is most likely to occur and is the easiest to solve if YouTube cannot be opened on a cellphone is the internet connection.
If you’re using a cellphone, you can check the status icon at the top of the screen to see if it has a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If in doubt, open your phone’s Settings app and turn Wi-Fi off, then back on.
A surefire way to check internet access is to try another application that requires a connection. You can check the Netflix app, for example, or see if it can send and receive emails.
2. YouTube is down
