Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Lazada Indonesia is holding the Lazada Seller Conference 2023 for the fifth time, after it was first held in 2019. Vice President, Business Development Lazada Indonesia Fitriah Rahmawatir said this annual event carries the theme ‘There is support for your success at Lazada’.
According to him, this theme also confirms Lazada’s commitment to helping sellers and brands compete in the digital economic ecosystem.
“This is in line with the government’s vision and mission and targets in empowering MSMEs. Through program and service innovation, we also focus on strengthening a sustainable digital economic ecosystem, as well as inviting sellers and brands to grow and develop together on Lazada,” said Fitriah in a press conference in Jakarta, Friday (27/10/2023).
He emphasized that Lazada is also trying to help sellers in its ecosystem, to get a bigger market. For this reason, this e-commerce provides various features as well as comprehensive programs and support.
“Lazada has a commitment and we continue to invest in technology, providing programs for MSMEs to grow and develop in the last 11 years,” stressed Fitriah.
For your information, the Lazada Seller Conference was first launched in Indonesia in 2019 and is the biggest event for sellers who want to gain insight into the latest market trends. This event aims to increase literacy regarding the programs and features offered by Lazada, to support business growth, especially during the year-end shopping festivals 11.11 and 12.12.
In 2019, Lazada invited 1,200 sellers by presenting various panel and training sessions with industry experts and certified trainers who are members of LazStar Academy Indonesia. Then in 2020, Lazada continued its success by holding the Annual Seller Conference 2020: Level Up, which was conducted online and succeeded in attracting 12,500 sellers.
Meanwhile, in 2021, the Lazada Seller Conference 2021: Level Up, Smartly Soaring was attended by 23,000 online participants. As a result, at that time the number of sellers joining Lazada grew threefold compared to March 2020.
At the Lazada Seller Conference: Level Up 2022, the main focus will be the shifting landscape of the digital economic ecosystem in Indonesia during the pandemic. The 2022 Lazada Seller Conference was held in a hybrid manner, there were almost 1,000 sellers attending offline and at the Seller Center watched by more than 15,000 sellers. Meanwhile, the 2023 Lazada Seller Conference is projected to be there 1,200 sellers who will be present directly in Jakarta.
