10 Hottest Cities in Indonesia & Rain Forecast for Jabodetabek Lifestyle – 1 hour ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) summarizes daily maximum temperature records in Indonesia from 1 November 2023 at 07.00 WIB to 2 November 2023 at 07.00 WIB.

As a result, 10 cities in Indonesia were still hit by hot weather in early November 2023. The three top ranked cities together recorded the highest temperature of 37.6 degrees Celsius.

Based on the daily maximum temperature report in Indonesia released via the official BMKG Instagram account (@infobmkg), Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) was named the hottest city in Indonesia with the highest recorded temperature of 37.6 degrees Celsius according to the NTT Climatology Station.


The Curug area, Tangerang Regency, is the second hottest city in Indonesia. Based on records from the Budiarto Meteorological Station, the highest temperature in the Curug area was 37.6 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the third position of the hottest region in Indonesia is occupied by Kertajati, Majalengka, West Java with temperatures similar to Kupang and Curug.

The following is a list of the 10 hottest cities in Indonesia according to monitoring by the BMKG station from 31 October 2023 at 07.00 WIB to 1 November 2023 at 07.00 WIB.

  5. Radin Inten II Meteorological Station, Lampung (37.2 degrees Celsius)
  6. Central Java Climatology Station (37 degrees Celsius)
  7. Center for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Region II (37 degrees Celsius)
  8. Kalimarau Meteorological Station, Berau, East Kalimantan (37 degrees Celsius)
  9. Fransiskus Xaverius Seda Meteorological Climatology Station, Sikka, NTT (36.8 degrees Celsius)
  10. Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin Meteorological Station, Sumbawa, NTB (36.7 degrees Celsius)

Jabodetabek Rain Forecast

In a separate upload, BMKG revealed that from Thursday, November 2 2023 at 07.00 WIB to Friday, November 3 2023 at 07.00 WIB, the weather in the Jabodetabek area is generally predicted to be cloudy.

“However, Bogor, Bekasi, Depok, Tangerang, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta and North Jakarta have the potential for light rain,” wrote BMKG, quoted Thursday (2/11/2023).

Meanwhile, on Friday, November 3 2023 at 07.00 WIB to Saturday, November 4 2023 at 07.00 WIB, in general the Jabodetabek area is predicted to have light rain with Bogor having the potential for moderate rain.
