The highest-scoring debut XI of the 2025/26 season so far

Currently, with seven Matchweeks remaining, 14 players have reached the 100-point mark in their first Fantasy Premier League (FPL) campaign.

Of the debutants for the 2025/26 season who came from the Championship or abroad, some performed well, while players such as Xavi Simons (£6.5 million), Randal Cole Muani (£6.9 million) and Maxim De Cuyper (£4.3m) has been a disappointment.

Let’s focus on positive introductions.

GOALKEEPER

Robin Roefs (110 points)

There are plenty of members of Sunderland’s back line here, as last season’s play-off winners continue to defy the statistics.

They conceded the third most shots (455) and conceded the fifth fewest (36). Only Everton have surpassed expected goals conceded goals (xGC) by more (-9.21):

Robin Roefs (£4.8m) is a big reason. Arriving from NEC Nijmegen for an initial fee of £9m, he set the tone by keeping a clean sheet on the opening day, then saving Kevin Schade’s penalty (£7.0m) in Gameweek 3.

At the end of Gameweek 6, Roefs had collected 39 points. He would have performed better if not for his current hamstring injury.

DEFENDER

FPL Gameweek 4 differences: Elliott, Truffert + Paqueta

Adrien Truffert (122 points), Daniel Ballard (118), Nordi Mukiele (115), Malick Thiaw (114)

Owners also get many benefits from Wearside Daniel Ballard (£4.7 million) and Nordi Mukiele (£4.5m), especially the latter, who started with just £4.0m.

Hailing from Paris Saint-Germain, Mukiele didn’t make his debut until Gameweek 3 and hasn’t played significant minutes since Gameweek 26, but he has one goal and five assists between the two. The peak was with a 17-point shot at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The second best defender creating big chances (seven) also had nine games in which only one ended with fewer than four points.

Teammate Ballard started for £4.5 million but was Gameweek 1’s top scorer with 17 points. One of the best all-round defenders, very few can top his 30-point defensive contribution (DefCon), but he is also near the top for shots inside the box (24) and headed attempts (19).

Highest scoring FPL debutant XI 2025/26 1

Only Malick Thiaw (£5.1m) from neighbors Newcastle United have provided more big chances (nine, see image above). Gameweek 13’s top scorer scored twice at Everton but was immediately beaten in a 17-pointer versus Crystal Palace.

None of the three – or Roefs – were in the recent Tyne-Wear derby line-up.

Joining Thiaw and Neco Williams (£4.7m) as the defenders with the third most bonus points (12) are Adrien Truffert (£4.7 million).

Bought as a replacement for Milos Kerkez (£5.6m), he helped Bournemouth have the best home defense in terms of big goals conceded (17). And, despite his low offensive returns, Truffert is third in his position in crossing passes (123).

Midfielder

FPL notes: Wirtz excellent, Gakpo returns + new striker worth £4.5m

Anton Stach (122 points), Martin Zubimendi (117), Enzo Le Fee (108), Florian Wirtz (105)

Purchased from Hoffenheim, Anton Stach (£4.8m) featured in our all-round midfielders as he scored three free-kicks, got a DefCon, took a lot of corners and was second in chances created (58).

Interestingly, he was Gameweek 5’s top scorer and faced the same Wolves team in Gameweek 33 – a popular time for Bench Boost activations. A cheap offer, Leeds United will also soon host Burnley.

Martin Zubimendi (£5.1m) joined Arsenal from Real Sociedad and proved himself to be more than just an occasional DefCon prize. His two goals in Gameweek 4 preceded goals in Gameweeks 19, 24 and 25.

However, it could be said that the most exciting arrival of summer is Florian Wirtz (£8.3 million). A slow start meant nothing came of it until Gameweek 14, but the assist sparked a bit of his best form before his recent back injury – enough to see him tally 105 points.

The German ranks first in the league for successful passes in the attacking third (514).

Completing the midfield is Enzo Le Cost (£4.9m), whose penalty-taking has contributed to three of the four goals, along with four assists. One of them occurred in the Gameweek 13 comeback win over Bournemouth.

This means the low-cost option is having a good season, although Habib Diarra (£5.3m) may now have taken over Sunderland’s penalty duties.

FORWARD

FPL notes: Ekitike fit, Thiago rested + more Szoboszlai in defence

Hugo Ekitike (125 points), Viktor Gyokeres (101)

It could be a 5-4-1 with Omar Alderete (£4.1m) included, but let’s avoid a fifth Mackem and double the Liverpool and Arsenal forwards.

Hugo Ekitike‘s (£9.3m) 125 points tops the list of debutants, but having them is likely to be a frustrating experience. Initially facing internal competition from Alexander Isak (£10.3m), the 23-year-old was able to score in double figures but failed against Burnley (twice), Wolves (twice) and Leeds.

Benched in Gameweek 30, he came off injured in the ninth minute of Gameweek 31.

Neither he nor Viktor Gyokeres (£8.8m) felt like a success, but here it was, with 11 league goals.

The player from Sweden was actually priced in the 2018/19 FPL but did not play a single league for Brighton and Hove Albion. Signed for £55m from Sporting CP, his brace in Gameweek 2 against Leeds looked promising, but he faded quickly.

Similar double-goal gains occurred in Game Weeks 25 and 27, but the rotation between the two, as the most purchased assets, resulted in blanks in both halves of Double Game Week 26.

Other strikers worth mentioning are Benjamin Sesko (£7.4m) and Nick Woltemade (£6.7m). They arrived from the Bundesliga but have gone through some difficulties.

Sesko has scored seven goals in his last 10 goals, but most have come as a substitute. Meanwhile Woltemade scored four goals between Matchdays 4 and 8, but under-pressure boss Eddie Howe appears to have lost confidence in him as a centre-forward.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
