Caversham United Confirmation of the Women’s Team has asked for voluntary degradation to TVCWFL

With the 2025/26 League constitution published for Tiers’ 1-6, Caversham United is a real removal in the list of competing troops in the Southern Women’s Football League.

The club has confirmed that they have asked for voluntary degradation to Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League, the league they were promoted only three seasons ago.

The club account verified, “This news is actually very positive for us! Our squad is now very different from when we enter Tier 6, and we have a few challenging seasons. We ask to go down to level 7 to allow us to rebuild the core of our squad and challenge this season and Springboard!”
