4. Spinach

Drinking black tea can help you recover faster from stress. A study compared people who drank 4 cups of tea every day for 6 weeks with people who consumed other drinks. Tea drinkers reported feeling calmer and having lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol after facing stressful situations.

6. Almonds

Almonds are rich in vitamin E to boost the immune system, plus vitamin B, which can make you more resilient when experiencing stress or depression. To get the benefits, replace your snacks with a quarter cup of almonds every day.
