The Norwegian striker has made five league and cup appearances without scoring against tonight’s opponents, with his last goal coming three years ago.
But in general, City have enjoyed their meetings with Newcastle: only one defeat in 15 meetings with the Magpies, and that too came in the EFL Cup.

Eddie Howe changed three quarters of his defense for tonight’s game.
Two of the changes were implemented as Dan Burns suspended and Kieran Trippier suddenly sidelined with a minor hamstring injury.
Sven Botman down to the bench, meanwhile, with Fabian Schar replace it.
Also returning to play for the first time after injury was the wing-back Tino Livramento And Lewis Hall.
Anthony Gordon failed to recover in time and was again absent from the squad.
