Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Another case of monkey pox (monkeypox) was confirmed on October 14 2023 in Jakarta. The Ministry of Health said that these findings resulted in two cases of monkey pox in Indonesia.
The first case of monkey pox was discovered in Indonesia on August 20 2022, which was an imported case or came from abroad.

- Do not handle or touch the bedding, towels, or clothing of someone who has monkey pox.
3. Wash your hands often.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, especially before eating or touching your face and after using the bathroom.
4. Avoid contact with animals that can spread the monkeypox virus, usually rodents and primates. In addition, avoid touching sick or dead animals, as well as bedding or other materials they have touched.
