Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Market research firm, Counterpoint, released its latest report on the best-selling cellphones in Indonesia in the third quarter (Q3) 2023. The report notes that there was a YoY increase of 2% in the entry level segment or under IDR 3 million.

This is driven by the presence of the Redmi Note 12, Redmi 12, Redmi A2, and Infinix Smart 7, Infinix Hot 30i, and Infinix Note 30.

Meanwhile, the Rp. 3-6 million segment also experienced YoY growth of 5%. Samsung, Vivo and Oppo are in the top three positions. The three of them control 63% of the market share in this segment. “In this segment, Oppo is experiencing significant growth,” said Counterpoint Senior Analyst Febriman Abdillah.
