Arriving in Jakarta, Coldplay’s Chris Martin shows off Jalan Nyeker Lifestyle – 2 hours ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Coldplay personnel finally landed in Jakarta, Tuesday (14/11/2023) yesterday. The British band’s first arrival in Indonesia was immediately ‘celebrated’ by the vocalist, Chris Martin, by walking barefoot, aka loud on the streets of the capital.

In it, Chris Martin is seen wearing a black hat and light gray T-shirt, while Phil Harvey wears a dark gray T-shirt. Both of them looked so sweaty that their clothes were wet.


In the second photo, Coldplay shared the moment the 46 year old vocalist was walking barefoot, aka nyeker. Chris Martin’s appearance looked very relaxed with the black shorts he wore. Based on the search, the location of the second photo looks like the Setiabudi Reservoir.

The upload was immediately greeted warmly by Indonesian netizens. Most of the comments jokingly asked Chris Martin to wear sandals.

“Be careful, don’t just let a pebble slip through your fingernail become a concert, the audience will be disappointed,” said one netizen in the comments column.

Heya Kris.. of you go barefoot “Nyeker” in Jakarta you will get worms… “cacingan” then.. Kudu drink Kombantrin!” commented another netizen while inserting a laughing emoticon.

Apart from warning about the dangers of walking hard in Jakarta, quite a few netizens also said that Chris Martin was suitable to be a local resident.

“Where are the warlok (local residents)? haha,” joked one netizen.

“wkwkwkkwkw akamsiiii (village kid here),” said another netizen.

“The latest news is that we are still on the way to Indramayu,” said another netizen jokingly.

For information, Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ concert will be held today, Wednesday (15/11/2023) at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK).

Based on the current schedule, potential spectators can start entering the pre-function area at 13.00 WIB.

Entrance to venues GBK opens at 17.00 WIB for Ultimate Experience and My Universe ticket holders. Meanwhile, ticket holders in all categories can only enter the venue when the doors open at 17.30 WIB.

Later, Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ Jakarta will be opened by a performance by local musician, Rahmania Astrini. The appearance of Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion will start at 21.00 WIB.
