It’s time to see more differences as Gameweek 23 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) comes into view.
We only concentrate on FPL picks with ownership of 5% or less at the time of writing.
This time, we’ve selected low-ownership players at Brentford, Everton and Sunderland who we think can make an impact.
KEVIN’S DAMAGE
- FPL Ownership: 2.8%
- Price: £7.1 million
- GW23-27 match schedule: NFO | average | new | ARS | BHA
Found in just 2.8% of Fantasy squads, courtesy of Brentford Kevin Damage (£7.1m) is a difference in form.
Since Matchday 18, the German winger has generated as many attacking returns as a starter (five). His tally could also be higher, having squandered two of Keith Andrews’ side’s best chances at Stamford Bridge last week.
Schade has recorded 13 shots and four chances created in those same five matches.
He also ranks top of all FPL midfielders for expected goals (xG) in 2025/26:

Schade has been very productive at Gtech Community Stadium this season, with six goals and two assists in 10 games.
Brentford host Sean Dyche’s Nottingham Forest on Sunday, clashing with a Forest backline that has conceded eight times in their last four away games.
And the Bees will look to build on their excellent home goals tally, surpassed only by Manchester City and Arsenal.

With tough games against Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Arsenal to follow, Matchday 27 might be an ideal entry point for Schade; however, he has already scored against Newcastle this season. He also returns against Forest and Villa in the 2024/25 season.
As a result, Schade looks to be a very tempting option considering his recent form, long-term match prospects and small holdings.
NDIAYE EDUCATION

- FPL Ownership: 3.3%
- Price: £6.2 million
- GW23-27 match schedule: LEE | is | full | BU | mun
A home game against a Leeds United side who have only kept one clean sheet away from home all season prompts us to consider it Indian education (£6.2 million).
Having recently won the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with Senegal, the 25 year old looks ready to start for Everton in Gameweek 23.
Before leaving for AFCON, Ndiaye had recorded four goals and two assists in 16 matches, playing mostly as a right winger in the 4-2-3-1 formation implemented by David Moyes.

However, with Jack Grealish (£6.4m) potentially sidelined for “months” with a leg fracture, Ndiaye should take more minutes on the left, where he can cut inside with his stronger right foot, which would theoretically increase his goal threat.
Ndiaye is third after Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury Hall (£4.9m) for expected assists (xA) among Everton players, with 2.7.
Combined with penalty duties, as well as potential defensive contributions (DefCon), Ndiaye could be a real difference maker.
Everton host Leeds on Monday, who may not play Jaka Bijol (£3.9 million) and Gabriel Gudmundsson (£3.8m) due to injury.
And with fixtures coming up (they also host Burnley in Matchday 29), the 3.3% ownership midfielder looks worthy of consideration.
BRIAN BROBBEY

- FPL Ownership: 0.7%
- Price: £5.5 million
- GW23-27 match schedule: what | NOT | ars | live | FULL
Sunderland’s Brian Brobbey (£5.5m) has emerged as a new budget option after some good recent performances.
The Dutchman has scored in two of his last three Premier League games, claiming the maximum bonus on each occasion.
Benefiting from continued form in the starting XI, Brobbey now faces West Ham United and Burnley.
“Brian is getting better game by game; you can feel it. His teammates are really comfortable playing through him when he’s in the box. When he’s in the box, he’s a big threat, and he has built a strong understanding with them. Now we see the best version of Brian.” – Regis Le Bris on Brian Brobbey
Notably, Brobbey’s 16 shots this season have all gone inside the box:

Considering upcoming opponents West Ham and Burnley have only kept four clean sheets this season, and are ranked 19th and 20th respectively for shots into the box, Brobbey will certainly get the chance to add to his tally.
At an affordable price, and only owned by 0.7% of Fantasy managers, Brobbey could provide a great solution for those in need of a forward Enabler.
