Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The downstream program that the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has been intensifying has apparently attracted the attention of potential successors, such as Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo. The three agreed to continue the program.
The downstream program that will be boosted will not only be limited to downstreaming as currently, but will also lead to industrialization. According to INDEF Senior Economist Fadhil Hasan, the presidential candidates will face a number of challenges, starting from the need to create a conducive ecosystem such as logistics, financing to low interest rates and pressing ICOR for investment efficiency.
