Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza’s largest hospital, Al Shifa, on Friday (10 November), killing one person and injuring residents who were taking shelter there.
Video footage showed seriously injured people lying on hospital beds and blood-stained hospital floors.
Palestinian officials said the attacks on a number of hospitals had occurred as Israeli forces were fighting Hamas.
Israel did not immediately comment but said it did not target civilians and was working hard to avoid attacks on them.
Israel claims that Hamas militants hide command centers and tunnels under Al Shifa and other hospitals, although these accusations have been denied by Hamas.
