The Story of Chris Martin Coldplay Peeking at His Son Working as a Lifestyle Cashier – 2 hours ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Coldplay successfully rocked Gelora Bung Karno with their first concert in Jakarta which was attended by around 80 thousand people on Wednesday (15/11/2023). Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin amazes fans with his stage presence and ability to entertain with the local joke “Borrow a hundred.”

When he’s not touring the world giving concerts, Chris Martin is a typical dad. He has two children from his marriage to Gwyneth Partlow which ended in 2016. Their two children are Apple Martin (19 years) and Moses Martin (17 years).

Apple Martin has now grown into a beautiful teenager. It had a unique name headlines media. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the mother shared the story behind the name Apple.


“Basically it’s because, when we were first pregnant, one day her dad said, if it’s a girl, I think her name should be Apple, and that name sounded really sweet and just conjured up a really beautiful image for me,” Gwyneth Partlow said.

“Apples are very sweet, healthy, and written in the Bible, I think they sound very beautiful.”

Apple Martin works as a cashier

When he was a guest star on the show The Ellen DeGeneres Show In 2020, Chris Martin told how he ‘snooped’ Apple working part time as a cashier at a clothing store.

Wanting to see his beloved princess do her first job, Chris decides to buy something from the store, hoping to greet Apple at the cashier’s desk. However, Chris said that Apple, who was only 15 years old at that time, was angry because his father came without telling him.

When Apple saw her father in line at the register, she said “Dad, just go home.”

“I felt guilty, and finally moved to another cashier while holding a t-shirt, I was afraid of making him angry. Then, I paid for the t-shirt at the cashier and because I had brought Apple’s favorite chocolate candy, I said to the cashier ‘Can you help me give this to my daughter?’ And when I was about to leave, Apple shouted, ‘I love you, Dad!’ “
