The event, which was held by the Ministry of Trade on 18-22 October 2023, at ICE BSD Tangerang, Banten, aims to encourage the coffee and cafe industry in Indonesia through the AKSI KOPI INDONESIA Pavilion.
The AKSI KOPI INDONESIA pavilion is an area that shows the public how the post-harvest process of coffee continues through the phases retail. Chairman of AKSI SCAI Daryanto Witarsa also said that this event was an important momentum to bring together various businesses in the coffee sector from upstream to downstream, with foreign buyers directly.
“In collaboration with BRI and Pegadaian, simplifying the payment system by using BRI EDC so that both sellers and buyers can make payments quickly (real time) even with currency differences,” he said.
In this pavilion, BRI and Pegadaian want to show the specialty and diversity of flavors of Indonesian coffee which comes from coffee farmers spread from West to East of the Indonesian archipelago. It is hoped that with the support of BRI and Pegadaian, this event can improve the quality and quality of coffee in Indonesia through AKSI SCAI as a mediator and facilitator for all its members.
