Rapper Rod Wave was arrested for 14 charges including attacks that were exacerbated after his house was ‘robbed’

Rapper Rod Wave has been arrested and charged with a series of violations after his house was robbed.

Born as Rodarius Marcell Green, American rapper, singer, and songwriter first famous in 2019 with a single heart on ES, which became viral in Tiktok before peaking at number 25 at the Billboard Hot 100.

His debut studio album, Ghetto Gospel, then peaked at number ten at the US Billboard 200. In five years since he released the next five albums, the latest lap 2024.

However, this week the 26 -year -old player was arrested and charged with 14 accusations including the excitement of attacks, possession of firearms and crime damage evidence.

Variety has reported that musicians were detained at Fulton County, Georgia and were released with a $ 50,000 (£ 37,000) bond yesterday.

The arrest was connected to an incident that occurred on April 21 when the rapper ‘returned to his home after theft’.

“At his residence, an argument took place, and the gun was fired 14 times, crashed into several cars and walls at home.”

In an incident report obtained by USA Today, Green and his girlfriend were registered as victims of April 21 robbery at their Georgia’s house, after that Milton District Police officers were sent home in response to domestic disputes where ‘neighbors shouted and shouted outside’.

The report stated that an officer found a woman crying, who said that when returning from out of town that night, he found their house had been stolen.

The woman told Green officers not at home but planned to return the next day. It is unclear how the incident was related to his accusation.

In a statement given to the variety, lawyer Green Drew Findling said: ‘There is no truth for this accusation [against his client]. Rod Green is a victim of robbery and does not commit a crime. How he even charged because this situation cannot be understood. This will really be completed well to Mr. Green. ‘

Green had previously been arrested for having ammunition or weapons in Florida in April 2024 after the police suspected he was involved in the shooting related gangs that made four injured.

In 2022, he was also arrested and charged with a battery with an encouragement in the same state after being accused of being accused of strangling his ex -girlfriend while their two children were in the house.

The accusation was then dismissed, with his lawyer calling the incident as a ‘misunderstanding’.
