Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Telkom’s performance in the third quarter of 2023 was quite brilliant. So what about the upcoming fourth quarter?
Responding to this, Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah hopes that growth will be the same as recorded in the third quarter of 2023.
“We expect Q4 performance to be roughly equivalent to Q3. Full year growth is around low-to-mid single digits. With a margin in the range of 52-53%,” said Ririek, in CNBC Indonesia ProfitsMonday (20/11/2023).
“[2024] We remain optimistic. Hope it can grow again. Yes, we’ll see,” he added.
In the third quarter of 2023, Telkom recorded revenue of IDR 111.2 trillion. This figure grew 2.17 percent annually.
The revenue contribution came from telephones amounting to IDR 8.31 trillion. Meanwhile, interconnections and networks worth IDR 6.62 trillion and IDR 1.78 trillion.
Telkom recorded revenue of IDR 65.87 trillion from the internet data business and information technology services. Meanwhile Indihome contributed IDR 21.78 trillion or an increase of 4.28%.
Telkom’s capital expenditure was also recorded at IDR 22.1 trillion. Ririek explained that there are many projects being undertaken by Telkom until the end of 2023.
In Q4, Telkom will build the infrastructure that will be used as soon as possible. For example, the BTS tower is expected to be ready for use on January 1, 2024.
“There are several projects until the end of the year. In Q4, the infrastructure will be used at the beginning of next year. For example, we will build BTS in Q4. We hope that by January 1 it will be up and running,” said Ririek.
