Indonesian Hospital in Gaza Attacked by Israel, 3 Indonesian Citizens Lost Contact! News – 1 hour ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Indonesia condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli attack on the Indonesian Hospital (RS) in Gaza which killed a number of civilians.

This was stated by the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) Retno Marsudi.

“This attack is a clear violation of international humanitarian law,” said Retno, quoted from an official statement, Monday (20/11/2023).

For information, Israeli troops have surrounded and attacked the Indonesian Hospital in the Gaza Strip since Sunday (19/11/2023). As a result, as many as 12 people died, dozens of people were injured, and hundreds of other residents were surrounded in the hospital.

Retno said that all countries, especially those that have close relations with Israel, must use all their influence and abilities to urge and stop the Zionist State’s atrocities.

“I myself have contacted UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) in Gaza, to ask about the situation at the Indonesian Hospital and received the answer that UNRWA cannot make contact with anyone at the Indonesian Hospital at this time,” he explained.

“Until now, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has still lost contact with 3 Indonesian citizens who were volunteers at the Indonesian Hospital,” he said.

Apart from UNRWA, Retno said that her party had also tried to contact the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Red Cross, but had not received an answer.

“I will continue to try to contact various parties to obtain information regarding the Indonesian Hospital and the safety of the 3 Indonesian citizens. We will also continue to coordinate with MerC Jakarta. And let’s pray that they are safe and will always be given the protection of Allah SWT,” he concluded.
