FPL Gameweek 4 Draft Zophar

This two -week international break gives each Fantasy Premier League (FPL) manager with time to think about whether Wildcard’s activation is needed to fix their initial problems.

Here, Finisher 10K Finisher Top eight times Zophar spoke to us through his current position.

This is a rough start and a low score for this season, where the top one million ranks around 27 points worse than 2024/25. This only worsens the variance factor, with some teams doing significantly worse than others.

As a human being, when faced with difficulties or disappointment, we naturally respond by taking action. For example, I and many others who have bad gameweek before international rest will be tempted to activate Wildcard, because it takes direct and proactive proactive steps to fix the problem. That’s how we were programmed to overcome it.

The easy response is too early for wildcard because we don’t know enough. And while yes, I agree with the general wisdom, I don’t think it must be an empty statement and cover all.

This is not only the classic line ‘special team’, but there are opportunities for three to four gameweeks to get yourself and resistant to the future of equipment.

So, while I do an advocate holding this chip for later, I want to share some of the Wildcard draft that I use as a benchmark.

This is the exercise I want to do during the early weeks. See how far my team is from ‘The Ideal 15’ and calculate how long it takes to get there.

Draft One: No Haaland – But Gameweek 6 Hit Free

Can Zophar use his wildcard by FPL Gameweek 4?

Defense

Here, I have David Raya (£ 5.5 million), although I think it’s too much money to spend for the goalkeeper.

Arsenal have the best defense so far, there is no doubt about it, and I think their defenders are a bit too expensive this year, considering they will not often bring defense contribution points (Defcon).

This decision prepares you for their good fixture gameweek 7, while the host Nottingham Forest Shooter also looks good for clean sheets. Visiting Newcastle United at Gameweek 6 will not be a problem because that’s when the free hit is planned.

Monster Defcon Joachim Andersen (£ 4.5 million) and Mark Sejesi (£ 4.5 million) Play for a solid defense and is collecting these new points. Considering they also offer several threats of goals, both look like extraordinary values.

As well as, Tosin AdarabiyoThe initial place (£ 4.5 million) was seen nailed now because Chelsea failed to sign an additional central defender. Plus, he has a proper Defcon potential.

Joe Rodon (£ 4.0 million) looks like a good value, because Leeds United keeps a clean sheet in both home equipment. Meanwhile, Daniel Munoz (£ 5.5 million) is very good for the upcoming Crystal Palace Run and can be converted to almost all other defenders on the phone.

Attacker

I will do it Ismila Hare (£ 6.5 million) here, but the hamstring injury looks bad. Because of that, I’ve gone Jack Greatalism (£ 6.7 million) instead.

For Bruno Fernandes (£ 9.0 million) and Lucas Package (£ 5.9 million), they are good for Defcon, playing 90 minutes and taking a penalty. Strong long -term choice. You can go Tijani Reijnders (£ 5.7 million), though. I still think he’s a good choice.

Mohamed Salah (£ 14.5 million) remains, keep gameweeks 4 and 5 in mind, whereas Antoine Semenyo (£ 7.4 million) looks like the expected destination monster (XG).

In front is the All-London trio. Viktor (£ 9.0 million) to run the upcoming Arsenal, Joao PedroMinutes (£ 7.7 million) looks good now Liam delap (£ 6.4 million) injured, and Jean-Philippe Mateta (£ 7.5 million) can take a profit from the next two palace equipment.

Draft 2: Haaland version

As shown the image below, Erling Haaland (£ 14.1 million) is a mile in front of the other in terms of XG (see below). So, if you want it for the long term than just a free hit gameweek 6, it’s easier to get it now.

Only two decreased decreases needed to turn gyokere into Norwegian people. Go out away and fernandes for Djordje Petrovic (£ 4.5 million) and Kernan Dewsbury-Hall (£ 5.0 million).

In my first draft, Paqueta is usually an eighth striker for a bench, but in the second, it will be Dewsbury-Hall, while Paqueta or Reijnders starts every week, which is still quite good.

Petrovic is undoubtedly ranking from Raya, but I prefer to spend £ 4.5 million for goalkeepers.

We will discuss this design – and many more – in the first international resting episode FPL Wire. You can check it here.
