Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – merdekabaik.id together with the CT ARSA Foundation and Internship Merdeka detikcom volunteers invite children to learn and play at the Red and White Learning House, North Jakarta (Jakut). This event is entitled ‘Merapi: Freedom to Achieve Dreams’.

The donations collected to date are approximately IDR 27 million on the merdekabaik.id platform. The proceeds of the donation have been distributed in stages and handed over directly to the management of the Red and White Learning House in Cilincing, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/11/2023). merdeka.id also donated suitable Muslim clothing for children, including Iqra and study books.
Apart from handing over the proceeds of donations, merdekabaik.id also invited children at the Red and White Learning House to play, draw and fold origami. The children were active and enthusiastic in taking part in the series of events.
One of the teachers, Dwi, said that children used to study under the bridge. He was grateful for the donation assistance and the children learning comfortably indoors.
“Thank God, until now the Red and White Learning House has its own building, yes. It’s comfortable for children, including dobaik.id which has helped this Red and White Learning House. Thank you very much,” he continued
Berkbaik.id Content Lead, Mustiana Lestari, said that handing over donations is one of the social activities that is usually carried out. He said donations for the Red and White Learning House had been handed over in two stages.
“So this is one of the social activities that we do, merdeka.id. Coincidentally, we are collaborating with CT Arsa and the interns of merdeka detikcom. Indeed, we have distributed several stages for this Red and White Learning House. So there are already two stages totaling around IDR 15 million,” explained the woman known as Tia.
Tia explained that assistance for the Red and White Learning House is still ongoing. He said the distribution of funds would be gradual in the future.
“Indeed, this aid is still open, good friends. And we have distributed it 100%. So, the distribution for the Red and White Learning House is taking place in stages and you can still donate at jasabaik.id to support all teaching and learning activities,” said Tia.
