Badak LNG Sets Work Safety Record for 17 Years News – 1 hour ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Badak Natural Gas Liquefaction (Badak LNG) recorded a safety record with a total of 125,004,162 safe working hours or 17 years without work accidents. Starting from 8 December 2006 to 20 November 2023, in carrying out its operational activities, Badak LNG did not experience work accidents which resulted in the loss of safe working hours.

Badak LNG Director & COO Teten Hadi Rustendi said that as a company operating in the LNG industry with high risks, this achievement is a source of pride and must be maintained. Because he said Badak LNG has gone through a long trail of continuous transformation processes in improving the implementation of work safety.

“Badak LNG also learned from past mistakes, and opened itself to best practices by paying attention to the Company’s internal conditions. As a result, Badak LNG consistently maintains safe working hours to this day,” he said in a press release, quoted Monday (20/11 /2023).

“Thank God, Badak LNG achieved 125 million safe working hours. This is an achievement to be grateful for because Badak LNG has operated safely for 17 years, without accidents,” he added.

He emphasized that the success in maintaining a record of 17 years without work accidents is a reflection of the company’s culture which makes safety a top priority. Coupled with full involvement and support from management, as well as commitment from all workers.
