Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia –At the 100 Economists’ Workshop held by INDEF and CNBC Indonesia, one of the Indonesian presidential candidates, Anies Baswedan, stated that it had become urgent for Indonesia to start reviving the function of cooperatives.
According to him, cooperatives can play a very important role in developing many business sectors in the region, for example agriculture, plantations and animal husbandry if they are managed well. On the other hand, good cooperative business activation can also help people avoid getting trapped in illegal online loans.
