10 Hottest Cities in Indonesia, Majalengka Still Number 1 Lifestyle – 1 hour ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released a list of the hottest cities in Indonesia for 19 October 2023 at 07.00 WIB to 20 October 2023 at 07.00 WIB, Friday (20/10/2023).

Similar to previous reports, Kertajati, Majalengka, West Java, has again become the hottest city in Indonesia with the highest recorded temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius.

However, the latest Kertajati record figure has decreased compared to the record from 18 October 2023 at 07.00 WIB to 19 October 2023 at 07.00 WIB, namely reaching 39.1 degrees Celsius.


Meanwhile, the second position as the hottest city is occupied by South Tangerang with the highest temperature of 37 degrees Celsius. This data was recorded by the Center for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Region II.

Meanwhile, the third position of the hottest city in Indonesia is occupied by the Bima region, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) with a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius. This figure is based on records from the Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Meteorological Station.

Based on the BMKG report, Nusa Tenggara dominates the top ten list of hottest cities in Indonesia, namely three cities with a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius.

According to BMKG predictions, hot and sweltering weather in several areas could still persist throughout October 2023. However, air temperatures are predicted to decrease in November 2023 as the season transitions.

“The decrease in temperature is predicted to start occurring in November in line with the start of the transition or transition period in several areas,” wrote BMKG, quoted Friday (20/10/2023).
