Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Congestion that has not been resolved means that the capital city of DKI Jakarta is estimated to experience losses of up to IDR 100 trillion per year.

Trisakti City Planning Observer, Nirwono Yoga, said that Jakarta’s traffic jam problem has had a negative impact on many sectors. Starting from accelerating vehicle damage, wasteful use of fuel, traffic jams & pollution which have an impact on mental and physical health to decreased employee productivity.

Nirwono sees the DKI Provincial Government’s serious efforts to overcome traffic jams through developing mass transportation, unfortunately Jakarta’s buffer cities such as Debotabek are not yet serious about preparing reliable mass transportation.
