Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- BSI Chief Economist, Banjaran Surya Indrastomo appreciated Bank Indonesia’s steps to include the sharia market in optimizing Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI) including Bank Indonesia Foreign Currency Securities (SVBI) and Bank Indonesia Foreign Exchange Sukuk (SUVBI) as instruments to attract foreign capital flows.
It is hoped that this policy can support liquidity and expand the sharia banking market ecosystem in Indonesia.
