Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Massive bombardment by Israeli air and ground troops was seen on the evening of Friday (27/10) on the border between Israel and Gaza.
Multiple explosions were seen in northern Gaza on Friday evening after the Israeli military said its ground forces would expand their activities in Hamas-controlled territory.
Israeli troops have massed outside Gaza in preparation for a ground offensive in retaliation for Hamas’ deadly attacks on Israel that killed around 1,400 people.
Israeli jets and artillery since pounding the Gaza area have devastated large areas and killed more than 7,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza Health Ministry figures.
Israel has also stepped up operations against Islamist groups in the West Bank.
