Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Israeli army increased its air strikes in Gaza and its ground forces expanded their activities in the Gaza Strip. This was stated by a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces.
Along with this attack, data providers in Palestine said internet services in the Gaza Strip had been cut off due to Israeli bombing.
A spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Hamas was running part of its campaign from beneath al-Shifa Hospital in Central Gaza. The IDF provided more details regarding its recent attacks, saying that ground troops, fighter jets and drones attacked anti-tank missile launch sites, command and control centers. The IDF also said agents of the Palestinian militant group Hamas were hit.
Quoted from CNBC International, a major Israeli ground attack on the Gaza Strip still appears possible, but humanitarian groups have warned against such action, citing worsening conditions for those trapped in the under-resourced and blockaded enclave. .

On Thursday (26/10/2023), violence in the Middle East escalated when US President Biden ordered fighter jet strikes in eastern Syria, targeting facilities used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The US Department of Defense said the attack was in retaliation for attacks on US troops.
“These specifically designed self-defense strikes were intended solely to protect and defend U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria,” U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin said in a statement.
White House National Security spokesman John Kirby repeatedly declined to comment on Israel saying its ground forces are expanding activities in Gaza and also declined to comment on the long-term objectives of the fighting.
“We’re not drawing a red line for Israel,” Kirby said Friday in a call with reporters. “We will continue to support them, but from the start we have had and will continue to have conversations about how they do this,” he continued.
Kirby said the US was still evaluating the impact of the airstrikes on Iran-backed militias and the US would not hesitate to take further action to defend itself.
