Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Joko Widodo held a friendly meeting with three presidential candidates who will contest in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential General Election at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (30/10/2023).
The three presidential candidates are former governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, former governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, and Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto.
Based on monitoring by CNBC Indonesia at 12.40 WIB, Jokowi and Anies, Ganjar and Prabowo were seen enjoying the food and drink menu provided. Until this news was written, no press statement had been given and the media was still waiting for the meeting to finish.
Previously, the news that the three presidential candidates were invited by Jokowi to lunch at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, was reported by the Secretary General of the NasDem Party, Hermawi Taslim.
