Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – After holding Ecuador to a 1-1 draw on Friday (11/10/2023), the Indonesian U-17 National Team (Timnas) will challenge Panama in matchday second Group A of the 2023 U-17 World Cup, Monday (13/11/2023).
The duel between Indonesia and Panama will take place at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya, East Java, at 19.00 WIB.
Reporting from the official PSSI website, the U-17 Indonesian National Team Coach, Bima Sakti, admitted that his team had made thorough preparations for tonight’s match. He admitted that he had watched Panama’s first game pattern at the 2023 U-17 World Cup as preparation for the Garuda Muda squad.
“We have found the video (of the Panama vs Morocco match). We have also informed the players about the strengths and weaknesses of the Panama National Team,” said Bima Sakti, quoted Monday (13/11/2023).
“We asked the players and we have to have one perception. They have good individual qualities, the organization is also good. Hopefully the players can implement according to the game plan,” he continued.
The 47 year old coach said that it is likely that he will not rotate players much. However, Amar Brkic, who was previously absent due to poor condition, has the potential to join the main squad.
