Top Players for Goal Involvement

Not long now until the Premier League Fantasy (FPL) was launched again for the new season.

From penalties to those who have favorable equipment, various factors influence the selection of Gameweek troops 1.

The front and middle of any FPL team, of course, are goal scorers and help makers.

But what is ‘goals involvement’?

There are two numbers provided in the table above.

GI% = Objective involvement: Percentage of the goals of their team that has been printed or assisted by a player (Opta only helps). That number only counts the team’s goals printed While players are on the field.

FGI% = FPL target involvement: Percentage of the goals of their team that has been printed or assisted by a player (Opta Assist and Fantasy Assist). That number only counts the team’s goals printed While players are on the field.

For those who don’t know, Assist fantasy is given to things such as rebounds, penalty awards, crosses that are deflected that reach the intended goals etc.
