How to give birth by Caesarean with BPJS Health

  1. Come to health facility I or a registered clinic according to the patient’s membership status, such as community health centers, clinics, midwives, and individual doctors
  2. Perform regular pregnancy checks
  3. If there are indications of a high-risk pregnancy, the doctor will issue a referral letter and recommend the patient have a caesarean delivery
  4. If you have received a referral letter, you can go directly to the hospital designated to carry out a caesarean delivery. If it’s an emergency, you can go straight to the hospital to give birth using BPJS without a referral.
  5. Complete the referral letter with a photocopy of your family card, original and photocopy of your KTP, as well as a maternal and child health book.
