Heartbreak for Debbie was confirmed at Coronation Street when he made a request | Soap

2025 has not been the year of Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) which is expected at Coronation Street. When he went to the doctor earlier this year after experiencing some disturbing symptoms, mood changes, blackouts-he hoped to be told that it was related to menopause.

Conversely, what he was told was very destroyed. Debbie has a young onset dementia, and its symptoms will gradually become worse.

Initially he tried to continue as usual without telling anyone. Only his brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) knows about his diagnosis, and he knows by chance and agrees to maintain his secret.

But when Debbie found himself experiencing more worrying episodes, he eventually became clean for his family. Generally he met with a lot of support and understanding, and he made peace with the former couple Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) which he pushed because he could not overcome the idea he saw him worse.

Besides Ronnie, Debbie’s main supporter is her family and she is very happy to have Carl in her life. Carl was mostly raised in Germany and did not have much contact with Kevin (Michael Le Vell) for many years, even though he and Debbie were much closer. He likes to have Carl around, because he is also there to support Kevin who is undergoing cancer treatment.

So when Debbie faced the loss of Carl from his life in the coming episode, he was not happy at all.

Carl put himself in hot water with Kevin when his brother (and Boss) found that he had carried out stolen car fraud from the garage. In return, Carl found that Kevin had lied about the treatment of his cancer unsuccessful, when in fact he was declared free from cancer after chemotherapy.

This is a messy situation, and is still messy when Abi (Sally Carman) hears about Kevin’s lie from Tyrone (Alan Halsall). Kev begged that he only did he needed more cancer treatment because he was very afraid that Abi would leave him for Carl and he wanted to make him stay.

This has the effect of making Abi so annoying that he feels disgusted with Kevin, knowing how he tries to manipulate his emotions and is ready to let his children think he still has cancer.

So he left and found Carl and they kissed excitedly, finally giving up on their old feelings to each other.

Kevin could not overcome Carl around and fired him from the garage, saying he could not believe it. Without work and with complications of his feelings towards Abi, Carl decided it might be better if he continued.

Debbie, however, is not ready to let her brother leave Weatherfield without trying to persuade her to stay. He did not know what his future would be like, but he wanted his family around him as much as possible.

For the sake of Debbie, will Carl agree to stay? Or is the situation too difficult?
