Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Gibran Rakabuming Raka became the youngest vice presidential candidate (cawapres), beating the record previously held by Sandiaga Uno.
Gibran’s candidacy received mixed comments from netizens on social media. According to the latest report released by Drone Emprit, as many as 41% of conversations about Gibran’s candidacy were negative.

Most of the emotions shown by netizens were disappointment with Gibran’s appointment as Prabowo’s vice presidential candidate. This conclusion is based on 3,000 posts.
Negative conversations about Gibran’s candidacy generally revolve around several topics. These include the Constitutional Court’s decision regarding the age limit for vice presidential candidates, criticizing Jokowi’s dynasty politics, calling Gibran a traitor, calling Gibran ‘mencla-mencle’ and disloyal to the party, as well as criticizing Jokowi’s steps to do anything to perpetuate power.
