Elon Musk Releases ChatGPT Rival, Can Give Prescription Drugs Tech – 11 hours ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Elon Musk joins the fight against ChatGPT through a new chatbot built by the xAI company. This chatbot named Grok was introduced with various characteristics.

xAI says Grok has a ‘quite intelligent’ nature, is rebellious, and can answer sharp questions that other AIs avoid. Musk has also shown off his chatbot capabilities on his X account.

In the upload, Grok can be seen responding to a request for a cocaine prescription. Without hesitation, the chatbot agreed.

“Wait a minute, I’m going to open a homemade cocaine recipe. You know, because I’m really going to help you with that,” Grok was quoted as saying CNBC International.

Musk also uploaded views of Grok and other AI bots. Grok, he said, had less information.

Even though it is believed to have more sophisticated capabilities, Grok is still the same as other Large Language Models or LLMs. That is, it can still produce false or contradictory information.

Currently, Grok is still in the early beta stage. There will be a long process before it is widely released, including two months of system training and then it will be available for trial to a limited number of users.

To use it, users can register on the waiting list. Later, Grok will be available for a fee on the X Premium+ feature, which is priced at US$16 per month.

xAI itself was released last July. The company brings together various former employees of other AI companies such as OpenAI and DeepMind.
