Coldplay Ticket Fraudster Arrested by Police, Hundreds of Victims Lifestyle – 3 hours ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A woman named Ghisca Debora Aritonang (GDA) was named a suspect in the Coldplay concert ticket fraud case. The determination of suspect status was announced by the Central Jakarta Metro Police in a press conference on Monday (20/11/2023).

Wearing a black mask and prison clothes, Ghisca is a young woman who is suspected of having deceived hundreds of victims with losses reaching billions of rupiah.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Police Commissioner (Kombes) Susatyo Purnomo Condro said that the total recorded Coldplay ticket fraud was more than 2,200 tickets. The loss to victims was billions of rupiah.

“The total is IDR 5.1 billion rupiah or 2,268 tickets,” said Kombes Susatyo in a press conference at his office, Jakarta, Monday (20/11/2023).


Ghisca herself is the reported person in this case. It is not yet known how much profit he got from deceiving Coldplay fans.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Chandra Mata Rohansyah, explained that the victims of fraud bought Coldplay concert tickets to the resellers. Police said there were five resellers who bought tickets from the same person.

The police are still identifying the reported party and will examine the victim and the victims resellers.
