Ascot United Captain Philippa Holden places a pen on paper for the 2025/26 season

Ascot United’s woman has confirmed Captain Phillipa Holden, known as Phil, has committed to the club for the 2025/26 season.

The central midfielder will start his third season at the club and the second as Captain Yellas. He played an important role in their accusations for the premiere of the Southern Women’s Football League and was awarded it properly when they were promoted to become Fawnl which included 23 appearances for the squad.

With his 50th appearance coming in January against fellow competings of the Wycombe Wanderers race, the match ended with a 2-1 victory for Ascot. Holden made his debut on January 15, 2023 after signing from Chichester.

Ascot United Women will compete in the first division of the Women’s National League for the first time in the club’s history for the 2025/26 season.
