The Poco F5 was first released globally last May in India and will be available in Indonesia in June 2023. This cellphone was introduced as Poco’s ‘flagship’ product, although the price is still pocket-friendly.
For the 8+5GB/256GB RAM/ROM variant, the price of the Poco F5 is IDR 4,799,000. Meanwhile, the more jumbo RAM/ROM variant 12GB+7GB/256GB is set at IDR 5,299,000.
The innards are not embarrassing to claim to be a flagship product. The Poco F5 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset which is built with a 4nm manufacturing process, 64-bit architecture, and supports 5G networks.
Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 has a CPU clock speed of up to 2.92 GHz or 50% faster than its predecessor. This chipset uses Arm Cortex X-series in the CPU core, the same as that used in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 series.
These various technical specifications briefly promise 2 main things: reliable artificial intelligence (AI) performance to produce quality visuals, as well as capable gaming capabilities.
