Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- UOB Indonesia Banking Director, Harapanman Kasan, revealed a number of prospects and challenges for Indonesia as the epicenter of growth in ASEAN.
There are a number of things that Indonesia must have to become the epicenter of ASEAN, including political stability and policy consistency. Apart from that, improving the quality of human resources and certainty in tax regulations are important to increase competitiveness in the region.
Apart from that, UOB also ensures support for efforts to encourage the implementation of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) and decarbonization in Indonesia and the ASEAN region. This can be implemented through increasing understanding and implementation of ESG & decarbonization in various business sectors.
