Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Entering November 2023, a number of regions in Indonesia are still being hit by scorching hot weather. In fact, Kertajati, Majalengka, West Java reached a temperature of 38.8 degrees Celsius until Wednesday (1/11/2023).

Based on the daily maximum temperature report in Indonesia released via the official BMKG Instagram account (@infobmkg), Kertajati is still the hottest city in Indonesia with the highest recorded temperature of 38.8 degrees Celsius. Just below Kertajati’s position, South Tangerang is the second hottest city with the highest recorded temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius.

If you look at the records obtained by the Center for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Region II, the temperature difference between South Tangerang and Kertajati is quite significant, namely 1.6 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the third position of the hottest region in Indonesia is occupied by South Kalimantan. According to records from the South Kalimantan Climatology Station, Banjar Baru City recorded the highest temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.
