Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- The Indonesian National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) proposes the formation of a fourth unit of the TNI, namely the TNI Cyber Force, as a strategy to strengthen the field of national cyber defense.
President of the Artificial Intelligence Industrial Research and Innovation Collaboration (KORIKA), Hammam Riza, expressed the importance of strengthening the national defense sector in facing developments in defense technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Hammam encouraged Indonesia to pursue advances in AI in the resilience sector that are aligned with advances in the national digital economy.
Meanwhile, Spokesperson for the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, said that the proposal to strengthen cyber defense to deal with developments in AI technology in the military sector is a positive thing, but this policy really depends on the decision of the government and the legislature.
