Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT MSIG Life Insurance Indonesia Tbk (Sinarmas MSIG Life) through the MyFit+ application invites the public to contribute preserving coral reefs in Indonesian seas.
Head of Customer & Marketing Sinarmas MSIG Life, Lukman Auliadi said, the way the MyFit+ application helps plant coral reefs is by having a challenge target of 1 billion steps in the application for users.
Every step taken, users can exchange it or donate it steps when walking or running for coral planting, of which options are available in the application.
“In relation to coral reefs, all users have a challenge of 1 billion steps, each step makes a company commitment to preserving coral reefs,” said Lukman at the inauguration of Coral Reef Transplantation on Pramuka Island, Wednesday (25/10/2023).
He added that this initiative was the first step for his party to carry out the #StepFortheSea campaign. Together with MyFit+, he revealed that the company continues to realize its commitment as a ‘Trusted Partner’ to live a healthier, more prosperous and sustainable life.
“Hopefully our current initiative will have a small impact today, but will become more numerous and bigger and will inspire the Indonesian people to start fighting for Indonesia’s seas,” he added.
For information, in the MyFit+ application, users can monitor daily activities and biological conditions, and there are several activity challenges with attractive rewards.
This application uses the Biological Age Model (BAM) algorithm which allows users to see biological age or the rate of biological aging. Measurements can be seen based on steps, active calories, BMI, RHR (heart rate), and sleep time.
MyFit+ has now reached 2000 public downloads. This application can be accessed by various groups and is free.
“We want to create a health system, not only for policy holders, but also for the general public,” concluded Lukman.
