Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – State Electricity Company (Persero) or PLN has opened its voice regarding the breakdown of the Jabodebek Cibubur Line – Dukuh Atas LRT train series on Wednesday (1/11/2023) at 08.23 WIB. The Jabodebek LRT train suddenly broke down for 3 minutes in front of the Saidah Tower building as a result of there being no electrical power.
Manager of PLN’s UP3 Lenteng Agung Greater Jakarta Distribution Main Unit, Hendar Prisnadianta, stated that PLN ensured that the electricity supply to the Jabodebek LRT was in normal condition during the event that the Jabodebek LRT train stopped at Cikoko Station near Saidah Tower. PLN is also ready to help if necessary to restore electricity on the Jabodebek LRT side.
Hendar said that his party had ensured that PLN’s electricity supply for operations and stations was completely normal, with no interruptions.
“We have also coordinated with the LRT regarding electricity disturbances on the LRT side and we are ready to help if needed. We can ensure that PLN’s electricity supply is in normal condition to serve the needs of all customers,” said Hendar in his statement, Thursday (2/11/2023 ).

Previously, based on reports from residents yesterday which went viral on social media, at 08.23 WIB, the LRT Jabodebek Cibubur Line – Dukuh Atas stopped in front of the Saidah Tower building. Before it stopped there was a sound like something had hit the rails, then the lights and air conditioner (AC) went out, there was no power to run, finally it stopped slowly until it reached the front of the Saidah Tower.
Jabodebek LRT Public Relations Manager Kuswardoyo confirmed the report. He said that this morning the Jabodebek LRT train stopped, due to a power trip or loss of electricity to the train, so the train stopped at that location for about 3 minutes.
“It’s true that this morning the train was stopped at that location for about 3 minutes, and then it was restarted, so that the train could operate and continue its journey,” said Kuswardoyo when confirmed.
