Pertamina, Shell, BP-Vivo Lower Fuel Prices, Who’s the Cheapest? News – 23 minutes ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A number of business entities providing fuel oil (BBM) have joined forces to reduce the prices of non-subsidized fuel products as of today, Wednesday, November 1 2023.

Both PT Pertamina (Persero), Shell Indonesia, BP-AKR and Vivo Energy Indonesia are united in reducing the price of non-subsidized fuel.

Pertamina, for example, the price of Pertamax fuel (RON 92) in DKI Jakarta has now decreased from previously being set at IDR 14,000 per liter in the October 2023 period, now down to IDR 13,400 per liter. Then Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), from previously IDR 16,000 per liter, has now dropped to IDR 15,500 per liter.


Next, the Dexlite type of fuel product as of November 1 2023 has decreased to IDR 16,950 per liter from the previous IDR 17,200 per liter. The price of Pertamina DEX also fell from the previous IDR 17,900 per liter to IDR 17,750 per liter.

Pertamina VP Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso said, amidst fluctuations in world oil prices, Pertamina continues to strive to maintain the performance of its supply chain, including flexibility in obtaining crude oil, so that fuel product prices can remain competitive.

“We also carry out efficiency, so we can save production costs, the result is that Pertamina fuel remains competitive,” said Fadjar, Wednesday (01/11/2023).

Fadjar added that amidst fluctuations in world oil prices, Pertamina continues to strive to maintain the performance of its supply chain, including flexibility in obtaining crude oil so that fuel product prices can remain competitive.

Likewise, Shell has also reduced the selling price of its fuels, such as Shell Super (RON 92), from previously pegged at IDR 15,380 per liter, now down to IDR 14,360 per liter. Then, the price of Shell V-Power, which was previously set at IDR 16,350 per liter, is now IDR 15,270 per liter.

The price of Shell V-Power Diesel has also decreased from previously being set at IDR 17,920 per liter to now IDR 17,780. Then, Shell V-Power Nitro+ fell from the previous IDR 16,730 per liter to IDR 15,590 per liter.

Not only Pertamina and Shell, BP-AKR and Vivo Energy also reduced their fuel prices.

The BP-AKR Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) now sells RON 92 petrol or sold under the BP 92 brand for IDR 14,360 per liter. Meanwhile, Vivo gas stations are now selling Revvo 92 at IDR 14,100 per liter.
