Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Good news for visitors to the Coldplay ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ concert in Jakarta who use public transportation, TransJakarta and MRT will officially extend operating hours, Wednesday (15/11/2023).
Quoting from an upload from the official X (formerly Twitter) account (@PT_Transjakarta), TransJakarta announced that it was extending the operational schedule for a number of corridor services until 01.00 WIB.
“Good news for those of you watching the concert on Wednesday, November 15 2023, service corridors 1, 3F, 9C, 10H and corridor 13 have had their operational hours extended until 01.00 WIB,” wrote TransJakarta, Tuesday (14/11/2023).
“Apart from that, you can also use the AMARI service which operates in 14 corridors and operates every day from 22.00-05.00 WIB,” continued the same upload.
TransJakarta service which operates until 01.00 WIB for Wednesday (15/11/2023).

MRT operating hours
Meanwhile, PT MRT Jakarta also extended its operational schedule until 01.30 WIB or 1.5 hours longer than normal operational hours, namely 05.00 to 00.00 WIB. However, the last train from the nearest GBK stations, namely Istora Mandiri and Senayan, is at 01.10.

Corporate Secretary Division Head of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), Ahmad Pratomo, said that the MRT operating pattern only applies for one day, namely during the Coldplay concert.
“The change in operational patterns is a form of follow-up to the Decree of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service Number e-0158 of 2023 concerning the Assignment to PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) to Providing Railway Services to Support Coldplay Concerts,” said Ahmad in an official statement, Tuesday (14 /11/2023).
“The above operating pattern is only valid for one day,” continued the statement.
The following is the Jakarta MRT operation pattern for Wednesday (11/15/2023).
– Operating hours 05.00-01.30 WIB (16 November 2023) 5 minute headway at 07.00-09.00 WIB
– Operating hours 17.00-19.00 WIB, 10 minute headway at 09.00-17.00 WIB, and 19.00-01.30 WIB
The operating pattern for the following day will return to the normal operational schedule, namely Monday-Friday from 05.00 to 00.00 WIB with a departure time between trains every five minutes during busy times (07.00-09.00 and 17.00-19.00) and Saturday-Sunday from 05.00 to 00.00 WIB with a departure time between trains of 10 minutes.
