Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Samsung Galaxy A15 is expected to be officially released in the first quarter (Q1) 2024. This cellphone in the middle segment will be launched in 4G and 5G versions in Europe. The first version spotted on Geekbench uses the Helio G99 SoC.
Meanwhile, the specifications for the Galaxy A15 5G have now been revealed in leaks, including using SoC Dimensity 6100+, Android 14, and 4GB/6GB RAM.
The source also claims that the Galaxy A15 5G will pack a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Previous rumors claimed the Galaxy A15 would come with a 6.4-inch OLED display but did not mention whether it would be a 4G or 5G model.
In terms of photography, the Galaxy A15 5G camera will be equipped with a 50MP main lens with 10x zoom capability, and will be combined with 5MP and 2MP units. Meanwhile, for selfies and video calls, this cellphone will have a 13MP camera on the front.
Samsung will reportedly equip the A15 with 128GB of storage, with the option to expand it up to 1TB. This cellphone will have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
Another feature, the Galaxy A15 will be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Source quoted from GSM Arena It claims the Galaxy A15 5G will come in blue and black and be priced at US$149 (Rp. 2.4 million) in the US. Previous rumors claimed it would be priced at around 250 euros (Rp. 4 million) in Europe.
There has been no news from Samsung about the 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A15, so we should wait until this cellphone is actually released.
