Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Entering 24 days of war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Group, Israel is becoming increasingly fierce in launching its attacks on Palestinian land.
Most recently, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasized that his party rejected the ceasefire that had been called for by the United Nations (UN) through a UN General Assembly resolution.
“The call for a ceasefire is a call for Israel to surrender to Hamas, surrender to terrorism… This will not happen,” said Netanyahu, quoted by AFP, Tuesday (31/10/2023).
“Israel will fight until this battle is won,” Netanyahu vowed.
To date, Al Jazeera, citing a statement from the Gaza Ministry of Health, revealed that the total number of fatalities resulting from this incident was around 8,000 people, most of whom were women and children.
