Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia –The price of gold bullion sold at PT Pegadaian fell in trading today, Thursday (2/11/2023),
Pegadaian itself sells various types of gold, namely Antam gold, Antam Retro and UBS. The sizes are sold in various sizes, ranging from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
In today’s trading, the price of 1 gram Antam gold is priced at IDR 1,152,000, down IDR 8,000 per gram. This gold is available in sizes/units of 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
Meanwhile, the price of 1 gram of Antam Retro gold is IDR 1,124,000, a decrease of IDR 10,000 per gram. Antam Retro is old packaged gold where the gold pieces and certificate are separate. Antam Retro Gold was last produced in 2018, and is available in units ranging from 0.5 grams to 100 grams.
The price of UBS issued by PT Untung Bersama Sejahtera remains IDR 1,119,000 per gram, dropping by IDR 10,000 per gram. The complete range of UBS gold available ranges from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
The drop in Pegadaian gold prices was influenced by movements in global gold prices which were pressured by The Fed still ishawkish. So there is still potential for interest rates to increase.
When interest rates rise, gold that has no yield will fade. When investor demand for gold decreases, prices also fall.
