Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Business entities providing fuel oil (BBM) at gas stations throughout Indonesia are compact in reducing the prices of their fuel products as of November 1 2023. These business entities include PT Pertamina (Persero), Shell Indonesia, BP – AKR and Vivo Energy Indonesia.
For example, Shell Indonesia’s fuel sales, for example Shell Super, fell to IDR 14,360 per liter from the previous IDR 15,380 per liter. Meanwhile, Shell V Power also fell to IDR 15,270 from the previous IDR 16,350 per liter. Meanwhile, Shell V Power Diesel decreased by IDR 17,780 per liter from IDR 17,920 per liter.
Not only Shell, Pertamina’s non-subsidized fuel in DKI Jakarta experienced a fairly drastic decline, for example the price of Pertamax fuel in DKI Jakarta, to IDR 13,400 or down compared to the October period of IDR 14,000 per liter.
Meanwhile, Pertamax Turbo also fell to IDR 15,500 per liter from the previous IDR 16,600 per liter. The price of Dexlite as of November 1 2023 has decreased to IDR 16,950 per liter from the previous IDR 17,200 per liter. The price of Pertamax Green 95 has decreased by IDR 15,000 per liter from the previous IDR 16,000 per liter.
Meanwhile, the price of Dexlite as of November 1 2023 has dropped to IDR 16,950 per liter from the previous IDR 17,200 per liter. Then the price of Pertamina DEX also fell to IDR 17,750 per liter from the previous IDR 17,900 per liter.
Corporate Secretary PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Irto Ginting explained that the new price as of November 1 2023 refers to the price determination regulated in ESDM Ministerial Decree No.245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Ministerial Decree No. 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning price formulation for General Fuel Types (JBU) or non-subsidized BBM.
“In the period 1 November 2023, Pertamina Patra Niaga will again make price adjustments for the Pertamax Series and Dex Series,” he explained in an official statement, Wednesday (1/11/2023).
Apart from that, Irto said that the price of non-subsidized fuel is fluctuating, so Pertamina carries out regular evaluations following market trends and mechanisms. He revealed that Pertamina made price adjustments following world oil price trends and the average published price of oil.
“Pertamina’s non-subsidized fuel prices consider various aspects including crude oil, MOPS publications and exchange rates, so that Pertamina can still guarantee the supply and distribution of fuel to all corners of the country,” said Irto.
